BBEdit 12.6.5

Bare Bones Software has issued BBEdit 12.6.5, welcoming back the old crash reporter and making a couple of additions to the Character Inspector, including offsets for selected characters and displaying a color swatch for a range of selected text that looks like a color specification. The text editor improves the performance of UTF-8 validation when reading files from disk after opening very large files, adds support for the SetApp edition of MarsEdit, significantly improves the performance of fetching stored keyboard equivalents for items in folder-backed menus, resolves some latent concurrency issues, and fixes a performance bug in the Lorem Ipsum generator. ($49.99 new, free update, 13.7 MB, release notes, macOS 10.12.6+)
