Fortnite fans will have to wait longer for this week’s version 10.10 patch. The update was scheduled to roll out this morning at 4 a.m. ET, but has been delayed by Epic Games due to “last minute issues.”

Fortnite’s tenth season has gotten off to a rough start, with the vast majority of players well and truly hating its new B.R.U.T.E. mechs. And Epic has no intention of removing them just yet.

The company has confirmed that big adjustments to the vehicle will come in the game’s next update, making the version 10.10 release one of the most anticipated in a while.

But we no longer know when it will be available.

Fortnite fans must wait for mech fixes

Epic tweeted on Monday night to announce downtime for the 10.10 update would begin today at 4 a.m. ET. It later tweeted again to confirm that the release is delayed.

“Due to last minute issues discovered with the build, we’ve had to delay the timing for the release of the v10.10 update,” Epic said.

We’ve been promised further details once Epic has more information. But 12 hours after the patch was postponed, we’re yet to find out when it might be available.

When will Fortnite 10.10 arrive?

We’re hoping the patch is still ready to roll out today, but we should probably be prepared to wait until tomorrow or Wednesday. It’s not clear how big the “issue” is or how long it will take to fix it.

In addition to B.R.U.T.E. adjustments, the version 10.10 update promises to fix stability and performance issues on iOS. We’ll have to wait for the full patch notes to find out what else is new.
