Report: All Three 2019 iPhone Models Releasing Next Month

You don’t need to be the most ardent follower of Apple news to know that it’s highly likely that new iPhones will be announced next month. That’s been the case for the last umpteen years and it’s very much set to be the case again in 2019. Now an analyst at Wedbush has shared his thoughts on the matter.

Yes, he thinks that there will be three new iPhones next month. Who knew?

Snark aside, there is of course from for there being at least one iPhone launching after the others. The iPhone X shipped after the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in 2017. Similarly, the iPhone XR launched after the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. With Apple set to announced three models this year, it isn’t beyond the realms of possibility that at least one might come after the others.

But according to Wedbush, that isn’t going to happen. Specifically, Dan Ives says that the three iPhone 11 models will all launch simultaneously. What they will be called is anyone’s guess, however, with some reports suggesting at least one will carry the iPhone Pro moniker.

Either way we’re just weeks away from knowing what the new iPhone lineup will look like and indeed, what the naming convention will be, too.

Based on previous reports, it’s believed that the new iPhones will be released on September 20th, with an announcement coming the week before. We’d expect to see invitations for such an event going out to media outlets soon. We’ll keep our eyes peeled.
