The next iPhones following the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max could be called the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Apple has yet to announce when it'll take the wraps off its new smartphones, and rumors and leaks about them are kicking into high gear until then. Case in point, their names may have been outed a little over a month early.

New iPhone Names Revealed?

As spotted by the French website iPhoneSoft, the case maker ESR has uploaded a quotation list that includes the names of the Cupertino brand's next handsets. If accurate, then the trio will be called the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max, as noted.

The iPhone 11 is expected to succeed the iPhone XR in the "affordable" segment. Meanwhile, the iPhone 11 Pro could be considered as the successor to the iPhone XS and the iPhone 11 Pro Max to the iPhone XS Max.

The stock list also includes the screen sizes of the smartphones. According to it, the entry-level iPhone 11's will measure at 6.1 inches, the iPhone 11 Pro's at 5.8 inches, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max's at 6.5 inches. If those numbers seem familiar, that's because the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max have the same measurements respectively.

In terms of design, the new iPhone models are expected to sport more or less the same look as their predecessors. The most noticeable difference is said to be the square camera hump on their back, similar to what Google is doing with the upcoming Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

iPhone Unveiling Date

As always, it's recommended to take this with the proverbial grain of salt until Apple makes its next iPhone lineup official. That shouldn't take too long, though, as the latest iOS 13 beta 7 update for developers may have divulged (via the Brazilian website iHelp BR) their announcement date already. If true, then the company is going to debut the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max or whatever they're going to be called on Sept. 10.
