At gamescom today, HP announced refreshed PCs from its entry-level Pavilion gaming lineup. The two new PCs include a new Pavilion Gaming Desktop, and the Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15.
Starting at $699.99, the new Pavilion Gaming Desktop packs up to an octa-core processor, in the form of either an Intel Core i7-9700 or an AMD Ryzen 7. In the graphics department, you can get it with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or an RTX 2060 SUPER. The 15L design also can hold up to three storage drives, and you can easily upgrade the memory, GPU, and network cards. It will be available later on this month.
The Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15 is among the first to use AMD's new H-series Ryzen processors, which are 35W APUs. It also ccomes with up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics with Max-Q design, a display with micro-edge bezels, and an option for a 144Hz 1080p screen. HP says that it's made to be dependable and for content creation. It will be available in September, starting at $799.99.
The company also announced some accessories, such as the Pavilion Gaming Keyboard 800, with red mechanical switches and 100% anti-ghosting. It's available now for $79.99. There are also a couple of monitors coming this month, the 22x and 24x. The main difference being the size, they offer a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync. The 24x has G-Sync as well. The HP 22x is coming to Europe for €169.99, while the HP 24x will start at $279.99.
