Apple Card is now on Twitter a day after it opened up to all iPhone users in the United States.
The account was originally created back in April, but only this week went live with its very first tweet. It looks like its primary purpose is to promote Apple Card, rather than to offer customer support.
Apple operates a number of Twitter accounts for various services. Those for Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple News are regularly updated, while the Apple Support account is always active.
It’s not yet clear if the Apple Card account will be tweeting frequently — or whether Apple has claimed it just to prevent others from doing so. But it has already published its first tweet.

That tweet is simply to promote Apple Card after it became available to all iPhone users in the U.S. on Tuesday. The post includes a link to the Apple Card page on Apple’s website.
The @AppleCard account has already amassed more than 2,400 followers at the time of writing — despite only one tweet — and that number is rising at a rather rapid rate.
You won’t get help with your Apple Card from this account. Apple says you should contact @AppleSupport if you have any questions.

Apple Card comes with more rewards
Apple confirmed on Tuesday that it has already expanded Apple Card’s daily cash back reward to include Uber and Uber Eats, which offer the same 3% return as purchases made directly with Apple.
It’s possible future developments like this one will be announced on Twitter, so if you’ve already signed up for yours, it is probably worth a follow.
