More battery issues reported on Microsoft's Surface PCs

Last week, we reported that various Surface Pro 5 and 6 owners are saying that they're having battery issues on their PCs. Now, it appears that the issue isn't exclusive to those models, with Pro 4 and Laptop 2 owners complaining of similar issues, as spotted by Windows Latest.

More notable is the Surface Laptop 2, which was released less than a year ago. In fact, in the Microsoft Answers forum, user Andrew7783 says he has only had the PC for six months, and his Laptop 2 loses about 25% of juice while it's shutdown at night. He also said that the battery seems to be in good health, so the recent issues could be the result of firmware updates.

And as mentioned earlier, Surface Pro 4 users are complaining of issues as well, although that PC is a few years old now.

The Microsoft Surface and Microsoft Support Twitter accounts have been responding to the various tweets, trying to help with the issue. It does seem likely at this point that a new firmware update could be on the way.
