Microsoft is closing in on a big milestone for Windows 10.
The company announced that there are now more than 900 million devices running Windows 10, up from 800 million this past March.

Microsoft in 2015 announced a goal of getting 1 billion active devices running Windows 10 by 2018. It could reach the achievement soon as Windows 7 support winds down and more users move to the company’s latest operating system.
Microsoft is hosting a Surface and services event in New York City next week.
