Dell's new XPS 13 with hexa-core Intel processors is now available

Ahead of IFA, Dell announced another refresh of its XPS 13 laptop, now offering it with Intel's 10th-generation 'Comet Lake' processors. The new Comet Lake options have been available since shortly after the announcement, but you can now get it with a Core i7-10710U processor.

If you're unfamiliar with the Core i7-10710U, it's actually the first 15W hexa-core U-series processor that Intel has ever made. Previously in the eighth-generation, they were all quad-core, and the seventh generation was all dual-core.

Other than that, the new XPS 13 is pretty much the same as the one that was announced back in January. It still has a tiny webcam that fits in the narrow top bezel, sacrificing Windows Hello, and it still has a 13.3-inch InfinityEdge display with 4K Dolby Vision, Waves MaxxAudio, and Killer Wi-Fi.

Dell also has some new Inspiron PCs available for sale today, including the Inspiron 13, 15, and 17 7000 2-in-1 with Comet Lake chips, although only up to the quad-core Core i7-10510U. They now come with Thunderbolt 3, and they have a built-in pen garage. The Inspiron 14 7000 is now available with Dolby Vision, ExpressCharge, and Connected Modern Standby.

If you want to check out the new XPS 13, you can find it on Dell.com here. There's also the XPS 13 Developer Edition, which you can get shipped with Ubuntu Linux.
