Intel has made available a new Wireless Bluetooth build developed for some of its Bluetooth adapters, namely version 21.40.0, which fixes the Yellow Bang sign with error Code 54 after resuming from Sleep, adds stability improvements and optimizations, and fixes a few other problems.

When it comes to the suitable adapters, this release can only be applied on Intel’s Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165, 3168, 7265, 8260, and 8265 (+Desktop Kit), its Tri-Band Wireless-AC 17265, 18260, and 18265, as well as on its Wi-Fi 6 AX200.

In addition to that, this 21.40.0 update can also be installed on systems running one of the compatible OSes that include a Dual-Band Wireless-N 7265, Wireless-N 7260/7265, or a Wireless-AC 9260, 9461, 9462, or 9560 adapters.

As for the downloadable packages, the producer has provided two executables suitable for Windows 10 (one for each bit architecture) that are targeted at end-customers and home users who need the basic features of this software.

Moreover, Intel has also outed 6 downloadable archives developed for IT administrators that can be used on configurations running either 32- or 64-bit variants of Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 platforms, as well as another archive that includes all the zip package mentioned above.

Therefore, if you intend to apply one of the available packages, simply get the appropriate download, run the setup, and follow the on-screen instructions. Also, if not asked by the installer, make sure to perform a reboot to ensure all changes take effect properly.

That said, download Intel Wireless Bluetooth Driver 21.40.0, follow the one that best fulfills your needs, and apply the package on your system. Also, constantly check with our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
