Microsoft’s free To Do app updated for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets this week. The Android update finally adds the ability for the app’s dark mode to sync to the system settings preferences and also makes some changes to the way tasks are sorted and appear.

Here’s the official release notes for the Android update:

  • We now follow the system settings for dark mode so if you’re phone is set to dark mode then To Do automatically follows suit.
  • You can now choose what account you want your task to go to in the New Task extension.
  • We brought a little color back into our widget icons.
  • We added a count to our sections in the Planned list so if you have them all collapsed, you can still see how many tasks are due.
  • We made a lot of accessibility fixes.
  • Coming from Wunderlist? You can now import your files across

Here’s the release notes for the iOS update:

After our big launch in the last update, we took some time to focus on the little things. What does that mean? Small improvements and bug fixes, including:

  • The issue which caused a list to be created instead of a group when using keyboard shortcuts has been fixed
  • If you wanted to stop sharing a list you sometimes saw an error message, we fixed that one now.
