The subscription card is only going to Television Academy members, but it unlocks three months of Apple TV+ streaming, which will then automatically renew at $4.99 per month.

Apple TV+ is set to launch on Nov. 1 and it will only cost you $4.99 per month, but you can delay paying for Apple's streaming service in a number of ways, the latest of which involves buying a magazine.

As MacRumors reports, the latest issue of Emmy Magazine includes a cover feature about TV series See, which is an Apple Original and expected to be one of biggest draws to Apple TV+ at launch. However, select readers will also find a voucher in the magazine offering three months free access to the service.

The subscription card is only going to Television Academy members. "All book store copies, newsstand copies, and all of our office copies (i.e., the copies that were available for purchase on our website—now sold out) do not include the card," according to an editor with the magazine.

For those who do receive it, the voucher unlocks three months of Apple TV+ streaming, which will then automatically renew at the standard monthly price of $4.99. Apple's standard free trial is just seven days

The best Apple TV+ deal can be found elsewhere, though, but it does involve spending a lot more money. Apple will gift you a free year of streaming if you purchase a new Apple device.

The cheapest way to get that free year of access is by purchasing an Apple TV HD, which costs $149 with 32GB of storage. The Apple TV 4K costs a little more at $179 with 32GB of storage, or $199 for 64GB. In all cases, remember you're saving $59.88 for the year of Apple TV+ access.

Editor's Note: This story was updated on 10/29 to clarify who gets the discount.
