Five newly released Apple Arcade games run the gamut from a side-scroller starring Lancelot wielding a laser sword all the way to a farmhand chasing down muddy pigs.
With these varied additions, Apple has almost reached the goal of 100 titles in its recently launched subscription gaming service.

Fallen Knight from FairPlay Studios
Those who want to wield a sword in a sci-fi epic can try Fallen Knight. According to its developer:
Fallen Knight is a neo-classic side scrolling action platformer game. The story is set in the far future and introduces an intense sword fighting game play with punishing boss battles. Players will take on the role of an elite Knight, titled Lancelot (50th), one of the Knights of the Round Table. He has to save his city from the terrorist organization called “The Purge.”
Fallen Knight is available today only on Apple Arcade.
Hogwash by Bossa Studios
A far, far sillier option is Hogwash, in which players can be either a farmhand or a pig. The developer promises:
“A succulent serving of multiplayer barnyard bedlam, Hogwash is guaranteed to have you squealing with delight!
“Will you side with the bumbling farmhand as he struggles to keep the farm squeaky clean? Or will you join forces with the mischievous pigs and run riot by spreading as much mud as possible?

A “hypnotic getaway” is the promise of Lifelike: Chapter One. According to its developer, kunabi brother, this game will “ignite your sense of wonder and lose yourself in a world filled with beautiful, enigmatic, and sometimes strange flocking species and creatures.“

Yaga The Roleplaying Folktale by Versus Evil
If what you’ve been wanting to do is clobber legends of Slavic myth, Apple Arcade has the game for you.
The developer of Yaga The Roleplaying Folktale says:
“Smash, clever and bash the murderous legends of Slavic mythology in this darkly funny action role playing game that changes every time you play. Play as Ivan, a one-handed blacksmith with incredibly bad luck, who must take on the impossible tasks given to him by the tzar.”
The game offers an arsenal of hammers and tools, many made by the player. And it’s set to a Romanian hip-hop soundtrack.
