Alleged Final GeForce GTX 1650 Super And GTX 1660 Super Specs Revealed
We have some unofficial specs to report in regards to NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce GTX 1660 Super and GeForce GTX 1650 Super graphics cards. While not confirmed (by us), there is a good chance the leaked specifications for both cards are accurate, given how close we presumably are to each card's retail launch.
It's common practice for companies to send out press decks and other information ahead of new product launches, and of course actual hardware as well (so reviews are ready to post). This kind of information is almost always shared under embargo.
That's also how leaks happen. As it were, the folks at Videocardz claim to have gotten their hands on information pertaining to the full specifications of both unreleased cards. Here they are, next to neighboring cards for easy comparisons...

There is not much in the way of surprises here—these specifications have been leaked out already, for the most part. With regards to the GeForce GTX 1660 Super, we're looking at an upgrade from GDDR5 to GDDR6 memory, which in turn bumps the memory bandwidth up from 192GB/s to 336GB/s.
The GeForce GTX 1650 Super is a more substantial upgrade over the non-Super model—it gains more CUDA cores, faster clockspeeds, and an upgrade to GDDR6 memory, resulting in more memory bandwidth.
Pricing is the big mystery on the 1650 Super part. There is only a $10 bump in price on the GeForce GTX 1660 Super versus the non-Super model, though the 1650 Super represents a bigger upgrade. So, we'll have to wait and see what NVIDIA decides.
GeForce GTX 1660 Super Benchmarks
In related news, Twitter user APISAK noticed a new entry in the Final Fantasy XV benchmark database. It shows results for a supposed GeForce GTX 1660 Super at 2560x1440 with High Quality settings. Here's a look...
In this single benchmark run, the GeForce GTX 1660 Super races ahead of the non-Super model, and is within striking distance of the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. It's also not all that far behind AMD's Radeon RX 5700, based on Navi.
This is just one benchmark, though, and a leaked on at that. In other words, let's not read too much into these results. Good news though—if other leaks are right, the GeForce GTX 1660 Super will debut very soon (October 29), so we'll find out soon enough what this card is made of.
