MacOS Catalina beta

Apple has released the first beta version or MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 for Mac users enrolled in the beta testing program.

The first MacOS 10.15.2 beta 1 build arrives as build 19C32e. Typically a developer beta build will roll out first, soon followed by the same build as a public beta version.

Presumably MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 beta focuses on bug fixes and enhancements to MacOS Catalina, perhaps resolving some of the Catalina problems that have been reported by some users of the new operating system.

Users who are enrolled in the MacOS Catalina beta testing program can find the latest macOS 10.15.2 beta update available now from the “Software Update” section of System Preferences.

The latest stable final build of MacOS Catalina is currently MacOS Catalina 10.15.1.

Apple is also concurrently beta testing iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3.

While there is no known public timeline for the finalization and release of macOS 10.15.2 Catalina, Apple usually goes through a variety of beta versions before issuing a final build. This may suggest that the final release of macOS 10.15.2 will be due out sometime toward in the next month or two.

Some Mac users running prior versions of MacOS system software have opted to ignore MacOS Catalina update for the time being for various reasons. If you’re enrolled in the beta testing programs for prior MacOS releases but have manually ignored Catalina updates, then you would need to clear the ignored software list before the latest beta build would show as available.

NS711 drivers only support mac’s running 10.12 (sierra) . If your mac is running Catalina, it is not compatible unless and until Numark releases and updated driver.
