For those that are fans of Intel's NUC family of small form-factor PCs, we've got information on some new entries to the family that are expected to land early next year. Intel's new NUC 10 family will make use of 10th generation Core processors, and in this case, it looks as though we'll be getting receiving Comet Lake-U based systems.

The information was gleaned by momomo_us, who is well known in enthusiast circles for spilling the beans on unreleased products. In this case, the leaker happened upon a slew of NUC 10 systems from, Bottom Line Telecommunications (BLC).

There are 20 individual SKUs listed, with the cheapest being a Core i3 based offering for $325.75, while the most expensive is a Core i7-based system with 16GB of RAM, a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD, 1TB HDD and Windows 10 priced at $962.69. Momomo_us added some further clarity to his findings by disclosing the specific processors found in the following models:

  • BXNUC10i3FNH (Core i3-10110U): $325.75
  • BXNUC10i5FNH (Core i5-10210U): $426.23
  • BXNUC10i7FNH (Core i7-10710U): $609.75

The aforementioned Core i3-10110U processor is a dual-core/quad-thread processor with base/boost clocks of 2.1GHz and 4.1GHz respectively. The Core i5-10210U is a 4-core/8-thread CPU and features base/boost clocks of 1.6GHz and 4.2GHz respectively. Finally, the Core i7-10710U is a 6-core/12-thread processor with a base frequency of 1.1GHz and a boost frequency of 4.7GHz.

Unlike Intel's Ice Lake-U family of processors, Comet Lake-U isn't based on the company's latest 10nm process tech. Instead, Comet Lake-U uses Intel's proven 14nm++ process tech. The processors are configurable to operate with a 15W or 25W TDP, and feature a new onboard memory controller that supports DDR4-2666 and LPDDR4X-2933 memory. There is also supports for Wi-Fi 6 (Intel AX201) and Intel Optane Memory H10.
