One-man indie studio SPARSE//GameDev has now launched its tranquil puzzler, Spring Falls. It's described as "a peaceful puzzle game about water, erosion, and watching things grow".

At launch, the game features 60 handcrafted levels to work your way through. Each boasts an atmospheric ambient-folk soundtrack, which enhances the mood and aims to relax all who play. The game's visual style is super distinctive, polished, and just flat-out nice to look at, with plenty of pretty mountain vistas to ogle.

You'll work your way down a steep mountainside, soaking in the atmosphere, manipulating the landscape, and diverting the flow of water as you go. By solving puzzles, you'll eventually return life to the land and see the fruits of your labour blossom.

Eric Billingsley, SPARSE//GameDev Studio Head, says: "After two years of development, I'm so excited to finally get this game out into the world. I hope Spring Falls can bring some peaceful moments to people's daily lives, and maybe make them reflect a little on the beautiful fragility of nature."

If Spring Falls sounds like your sorta puzzler, you'll find it available for download now from both the App Store and Steam. It's also worth noting that it's a premium game with no ads or IAPs to ruin the mood.
