Apple Arcade shows off 11 ‘new releases’ in new video

Apple Arcade launched to plenty of fanfare, and, since then, the subscription service has reached 100 games available for customers.

Many of the games that Apple Arcade is promoting in its latest YouTube video have been available for a bit of time already, and probably don’t really fall into the “new releases” category, but here we are. For instance, Redout: Space Assault by 34BigThings has been available for weeks now. The same can be said for Towaga: Among Shadows by Noddlecake Studios and Team Sonic Racing by SEGA.

Even the Ballistic Baseball from Gameloft launched more than a month ago.

To be fair, Apple’s description of the video doesn’t actually call any of these games a new release — that’s just in the title.

There are so many incredible games new to Apple Arcade this month. Tap the joystick icon on the App Store to play them.

There are 11 games shown off in total, with Redout and ShockRods getting shown off twice at different parts of the video. Other titles include Monomals (which launched November 1), Rayman Mini, Mosaic, Marble It Up: Mayhem!, Sociable Soccer, and Takeshi and Hiroshi.
