Apple Music Free 6 Months Trial Subscription: Here’s How To Get It

If you’re yet to get onto the Apple Music train now might be a good time to try it out, with six months available for free right now.

Apple has always offered three months free access to Apple Music for new customers, but right now that’s being extended to six months. The only thing is you need to sign up via the Shazam app which just so happens to also be owned by Apple.

The offer will apparently run through the end of the year, so you’ve only got a couple of weeks to take advantage of it.

If you already have the Shazam app installed on an iPhone or iPad you’re good to go. If not, install it and then launch it. Head to Library and then select a song from the Recent Shazams list. Finally, tap the Open in Apple Music button. If you aren’t an Apple Music subscriber you should then be given the option to sign up for six months absolutely free. Tap the Try it Free button to sign up.

You’ll then be sent to the Music app, with an automatically generated discount code already entered for you. And that’s all there is to it.

Bets of all, even if you’re currently subscribed to the service, this offer can be availed by canceling your subscription. Next up, simply launch Shazam, head over to Library, hit the settings icon, look for the “Disconnect Apple Music” option and select it. That done, now simply follow the same procedure discussed earlier to activate your free 6 month Apple Music subscription.

If after your six months you decide that Apple Music isn’t for you, just cancel it. But we reckon you’ll probably be hooked by then, It really is very good indeed.
