Apple is offering free two-hour delivery for last-minute Christmas shoppers

From now until December 24 at 4:00 P.M. local time, anyone who lives in a metro where courier delivery is available can get their iPads, iPhones, or some Macs delivered to their home in two hours — for free.

If you want Apple's free delivery, there is a bit of a caveat, though. To get delivery in that time-frame, you'll have to order an in-stock Apple Watch, iPad, iPhone, or Mac. You'll also need to live in a participating metro, which Apple assures buyers is "most major metros."

AirPods and AirPods Pro aren't available for standalone purchase, but can be shipped alongside an item as part of the promotion. Accessories, like phone cases, Smart Keyboards, and Apple Pencils can also be shipped within two hours provided they ship with an eligible item.

While Apple has offered the two-hour delivery service for some time, it usually comes with a $9 delivery fee. Last minute holiday shoppers can score a great gift and save a little money.

While the cutoff for two-hour delivery in participating metros is December 24, the promotional email sent by Apple states that certain places in New York City, Las Vegas, and Hawaii will have delivery on December 25.

If you don't live in an area where two-hour delivery is available, you can get free next-day shipping on in-stock items ordered by 3:00pm on December 23.

Those that are looking for the lowest prices period on Apple devices can save a bundle at Apple resellers. Amazon has replenished inventory for many items, including 10.2-inch iPads, which are now $80 to $100 off. AirPods are also on sale for up to $30 off, and this closeout MacBook Air is $300 off.
