Apple Teases End-of-Year App Store Daily Deals

Keep checking the App Store through December 29, and maybe you'll find something worth grabbing for your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Apple will display all discounts and promotions on the Today, Games, and Apps tabs.

You're almost done with the holidays, but Apple wants to celebrate the end of the year and decade by offering discounts and promotions through the App Store.

MacRumors reports that, in some countries, the App Store has started teasing daily deals to finish out the final week of December. It doesn't say what to expect, so we'll just have to wait and see what Apple offers.

The deals will expire at the end of each day. So Apple's advising owners of iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices to check back on a daily basis for new surprises. Since they're one-day-only discounts and promotions, you'll need to act quick as well. Any discounts and promotions missed aren't returning in the near future.

"From 24-29 December, you'll find a new surprise every day on the App Store," the promotion reads. "Come back daily to discover what treat we've got waiting for you!"

Apple didn't clarify if music, TV shows, movies, and books are eligible. They're not offered through the App Store, and thus it's unlikely to see that type of content participating in the end-of-year celebration. Still, there should be plenty of apps and games along to draw your attention.

Stay tuned to find out what Apple's daily deals include. Its teaser has only appeared in Australia and select Asian countries so far due to time zone differences, but the end-of-year celebration should be live in the App Store around the world soon.
