Hi Gary...I added the magnifier into the bottom the control center of the iPhone. While showing how great it was to my wife somehow it took a still picture of my leg and floor and now I can't get rid of it nor find it to delete and can't use the magnifier feature anymore ???

Paul: If you tap the large white circle button, it "freezes" the image. Useful if you want to look at something without holding your phone in the exact spot while reading. Just tap the screen to bring back the controls and press the same button again to "unfreeze."

Gary...to clarify. Do these tips require iPhone 11 and/or iOS 13.3 or are they backward compatible with older devices
/iOS? I want to share these gems with family and want to avoid sharing conflicting information. Thanks...and thanks too for your continued guides to enhanced Apple product usage. Grateful for your great support....Hal

Hal: Some of them will work with older phones and versions of iOS. But I can't say for sure without testing them all on a bank of old phones, etc, sorry.

Gary how do first responders get to the emergency contact information from the lock screen?

Karl: If you try to unlock your iPhone with Face ID/Touch ID/Passcode you get an "Emergency" button on the screen. You can tap that to call 911, but also to go to that information.

All the features on the IPhone Pro are both wonderful and overwhelming. Your videos are wonderful in helping to learn the basics. One issue we can't figure out. Using the air drop function we can send photos from the IPhone Pro but not receive them from others. Have checked the settings and it is set for Everyone. What other settings control air drop and where are they located? Thanks for any advice you have time to provide. Chuck

Charles: First, try a simple restart. If it still doesn't work, try turning off Bluetooth and back on. Same for Wi-Fi. If still nothing, try Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings. If nothing then maybe sign out of iCloud and back in again.

Gary: Thanks to your direction IPhone 11 Pro can now receive air drop photos. It was resetting the Network that did the trick. I would have never figured that out. Earlier I had tried the soft restart. That resulted in an accidentall call to 911. Seems the apple design includes key srokes between the soft restart and the emegerancy call to 911 that are very close to the same. Now will turn off emergency contact before doing restart. Thanks again for your help. Chuck

Charles: I've done an accidental call too, when reaching into my pocket to turn up the volume I pressed the wrong side bunch of time. It was weird having to answer all of their questions to convince them I really wasn't in trouble. I felt bad taking up their valuable time.

I wonder if Apple is aware of the problem? The way it is now set up it is a problem for the user and the 911 system. My daughter just retired from 21 years a 911operator. the current set up IS a major problem! I hope people like you and the collective 911 systems can make Apple change something to resolve this real soon. I wont bother you any more on this. Thanks for your help
