It’s 2020 and Apple is still adding new games to its subscription service, Apple Arcade. The latest addition is a new adventure title.
If you’re on the hunt for a new adventure title and are subscribed to Apple Arcade, then Doomsday Vault from developer Flightless might be a solid option for your consideration. You take the role of a character in a “post-climate collapse Earth”, and you’re tasked with collecting the “precious remaining plant life and return it to the safety of the Doomsday Vault”.
To collect that plant life you will need to explore a desolate landscape, including derelict buildings and flooded cities. To spice up the action you’ll need to avoid AI bots that have been left behind to protect remaining “corporate interests”.
The game features challenging puzzles “to suit all ages and experience”, with engaging 3D environments, a beautiful soundtrack, and “helpful plant information”.
Doomsday Vault on Apple Arcade is available for the iPhone, iPad, the Mac, and the Apple TV. It’s available to download and play right now.
