iTunes 7.3 arrives


In conjunction with the launch this evening of the iPhone, Apple has released iTunes 7.3, which among other things brings iPhone compatibility to the ubiquitous media-control application.

Here's what is new in this release:

• Activate your iPhone service
• Sync iPhone with your music, movies, TV shows, and more
• Wirelessly share digital photos from any computer in your home with Apple TV

Editor's note: The installer wouldn't allow me to install the iTunes Phone Driver. The item's there, but grayed out.

Moreover, my Mac meets the system requirements laid out in the read me.

Is the driver actually missing or will it only download / install after a user attaches an iPhone?
