While this iPhone Carabiner Clip looks rather handy at first glance, I'm struggling to come up with any kind of real use-case. I guess you could let it dangle from the back of a bag until either both the iPhone's glass faces were all scratched to hell, or a light-fingered passerby unhooked the clip and spirited it away.

Or, as the promo photos suggest, you could hang it from the strap of you bag only to be driven crazy by your sharp-edged iPhone banging and bumping against your ribcage until a red welt rises from your chest.

At least the Clip Clip is sturdier than it seems at first glance, meaning it won't slip from the dock connecter and fall to its asphalt-shattered doom. The clip actually screws into the case, and includes two long screws to replace those that hold the iPhone's rear panel in place (the kit comes with a screwdriver to take the old ones out).

I guess that one of the suggested uses might make sense after all: clipping the iPhone to a camera strap around you neck. For most people, the iPhone is happy tucked into a jeans pocket, but there's a certain kind of person who will drop any and every device that costs more than $50. This strap is for you, butterfingers.
