NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW), a global professional services company, announced today the launch of a new iPad application. The free HCM app is designed to provide human resource professionals with a preview of Towers Watson’s Human Capital Metrics database — one of the industry’s most robust single-source databases for workforce data and analytics.
The HCM app showcases select snapshots and sample reports of metrics and benchmarks from Towers Watson’s Human Capital Metrics database, including retention, turnover and labor costs that are critical for organizations measuring and comparing the cost and effectiveness of their HR programs.
Participants in the Human Capital Metrics database are able to tap into real data on workforce demographics to identify and analyze metrics by industry and geographic region.

After downloading the app, users will see many of the key features found in the Human Capital Metrics database, including:

- Data for workforce-related metrics
- The ability to trend HCM benchmark data over the last three years
- The ability to add an organization’s own data for comparison to HCM benchmarks
- The ability to e-mail any chart for review by others
