That's according to Payscale, which reports that Microsoft's starting salary is the highest in the tech industry but Amazon.com Inc., at No. 6, isn't too bad either, at $73,300. Payscale adds that after 10 years, you could could be making $136,000 at Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and $130,000 at Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), but leading that category is Google Inc., where you could be making $158,000 after 10 years.
