Suspect in Sight puts players into high speed police chases in a new way. Players aren't on the ground chasing after suspects' cars in police cars; they are in the sky tracking down the dregs of society with their police chopper and spotlight. They light up the target and the cops on the ground move in for the arrest. The game mechanics are fun and the wave-based progression keeps the action quick and sustained. The game also has a slightly more mature, edgier vibe thanks to some of its gritty comic book visuals.

In this game, players become the police force's eyes in the sky. After choosing a city and a chopper (both of which only have one option unlocked at the beginning of the game, others are unlocked as players progress) the player takes to the skies in search of baddies. Players are equipped with a handy radar that will highlight cops in green and criminals in red. The player must pilot their helicopter around the city in search of every criminal and get close enough to those criminals that their spotlight will automatically train itself on their vehicle.

Once the suspect has been spotted, police cars move in to stop the vehicle by bashing into it. The player must stay with the criminal car as it speeds around the city in an attempt to escape. The more consistently the player can track the outlaw's vehicle before the cop cars stop it, the more points the are awarded. There are a certain numbers of criminals to be apprehended in each wave and each wave is timed. If the player can't help the cops catch all the bad guys within the time, the game is over.

The mechanics of Suspect in Sight are simple; fly the chopper around and follow the criminal cars as closely as possible. There are options for tilt controls or virtual joystick controls, unfortunately neither option seems to work very well because the player will consistently find themselves inadvertently overshooting targets and backtracking. Fortunately, the environments look great and they are varied enough that players won't feel like they are flying over the same three city blocks over and over again. So far, there are only two cities available in the game, but more are in the works. The edgy comic book intros and menu art make this game feel a lot like an exploitation film from the 70's. That makes it very difficult to recommend the title for children, but more mature gamers will certainly have good fun with this game.
