Genius Scan turns your iPhone or Android into a pocket scanner

The Grizzly Labs, the company behind Genius Scan, today announced the release of Genius Scan 1.0 for Android. After helping more than 8 million iPhone users to digitize and organize their paper documents, Genius Scan is now available to millions of Android users.

Genius Scan is a pocket scanner for mobile devices. It allows users to scan, correct the perspective and enhance the readability of their scans. Genius Scan then lets users export their documents as image file or PDF to various services, from their mailbox to the best cloud services available on the market such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, Expensify and others.

Smartphone users rarely have access to actual scanners , says Guillaume Gigaud, co-founder of The Grizzly Labs,  but very often, they have to scan and share documents from wherever they are. Genius Scan for iPhone has been highly successful at doing that. Today, our goal is to make it as easy for Android users.

Along with today s release for Android, Genius Scan receives a major update on the iOS platform. This version 3.0 update simplifies the workflow to make it even quicker to scan. It emphasizes document organization by letting users label their documents using tags. It moves the export process to the background so that users can export their documents and jump to the next task.
