Zensorium announces app accessory to monitor cardiorespiratory health

Zensorium has created a 30-pin accessory for iOS devices called the Tinke. It works with Apple's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The device also works with Apple's Lightning adapter for newer iOS devices. When holding it with your fingers, the monitor checks your heart and respiratory rate, in addition to blood oxygen levels and stress levels. The app then takes those measurements and provides two scores for your heart rate, blood oxygen levels and respiratory rate, and a Zen Index to determine your relative stress level

Defined as the ability of your heart, lungs and organs to consume, transport and utilize oxygen, cardiorespiratory health should be tracked and monitored to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Tinké uses optical sensing technologies to capture blood volume changes at your fingertips and quantifies not only cardiorespiratory health but also stress levels into indexes. Both indexes trend alongside one another for daily and monthly monitoring and enable users to easily understand their health progression from their mobile devices.
