BlueStacks runs Android apps on your Mac


BlueStacks promises to run 750,000 apps available for Android on your Windows and now Mac computer. The company released a beta version of its BlueStacks App Player this week. So if you're looking to play Fruit Ninja as a mobile app on your Mac, now you can. If anything, this may be a way for iOS users to at least check out particular apps that are available on Android.

The beta version of the App Player for Mac released today is software that will run any off the shelf Android app on a Mac. The product uses BlueStacks' patent-pending Layercake technology to make this happen. To date, BlueStacks is the only software that can run mobile apps on a Mac. It is available for download free from BlueStacks.com
