So. You’re just going to have to wait. And me, too. But this looks to be a TV that may finally get you to trade in your current flat panel for something curvier. The gently swooping display is really beautiful to look at, almost a work of art. It’s different than anything I’d seen before. And moreover it’s functional as well. The curve gives the picture a depth and immersive quality, and the images onscreen just envelop you as you stare at the glass.
Yeah, I still want a TV that’s just drop-dead easy to use so I can get the shows I want, when I want them, no matter the source. But this was the first piece of hardware that’s given me TV envy in a long, long time. It was also one of my picks for Wired’s Best of CES awards.
