RemotePlay Launches on iOS Allowing Cross-Platform Content Sharing for the First Time

iOS and Android users can now instantly stream videos or share photos, music and documents to one or many of their friends at once regardless of the platform

FREMONT, Calif.--()--Piddas21, a mobile app startup and subsidiary of Fortune Global 500 Quanta Computer (TPE:2382), today launched Piddas21 RemotePlay, its peer-to-peer content streaming and sharing mobile application, on iOS (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch). The launch follows the March release of the Android smartphone and tablet versions on Google Play. The iOS version of RemotePlay allows users to automatically import music and videos from iTunes as well as seamlessly share content from third-party applications like Dropbox, Microsoft SkyDrive, Google Drive and others, while making it simple to share email attachments.

“We’re very excited about launching RemotePlay on iOS as it allows us to truly demonstrate how disruptive peer-to-peer broadcasting of content across multiple platforms can be,” said Piddas21 CEO and founder, Dr. Joe Lin. “RemotePlay gives people a new way to share their favorite content and dramatically enhances the way they interact socially through technology.”

RemotePlay is the first app to enable friends, family, acquaintances and colleagues to spontaneously share videos, photos, music and documents across devices on both the iOS and Android platforms. Users can instantly stream files to one or many devices at once, while letting each recipient independently pause, replay and view the content. The app also allows users to see what device and application friends are using, giving much more context to consider before sending content or choosing to interact.

Piddas21 RemotePlay is now available for download on the Apple App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. For more information on RemotePlay for iOS or Android, visit http://www.piddas21.com/RemotePlay.
