QUAN Initiates Design Phase on New iPad Accessory for the Elderly

HOUSTON--()--As Quantum International Corp. (OTCBB: QUAN) nears completion of a new prototype for its debut multi-function iPad case, the company announced today that it has begun designing its follow-up product offering for the $2.3 billion iPad accessories market: a protective tablet case designed for use by the elderly and the technologically challenged.

The device will be geared towards making the iPad easier to use and understand by consumers who may have limited computing experience, says Quantum CEO Robert Federowicz. It’s also set to include high-tech medical diagnostic tools.

“Our research indicates that older consumers are a major untapped market for both iPads and iPad accessories,” said QUAN CEO Robert Federowicz. “As tablet computers become more and more common as primary tools of communication, it’s important that they’re made accessible to our elders, many of whom are unfamiliar with touchscreens and wireless connectivity. We see unlimited market potential for this device as the world’s population continues to age.”

The new case will be part of Quantum’s growing line of lifestyle enhancement products. The company is focused on improving Apple’s revolutionary tablet, positioning Quantum for major growth as the market for iPad accessories continues to expand rapidly.
