LifeApps® Digital Media Inc. MDWorkout® Fitness App Helps Users Battle Obesity

American Medical Association’s recent classification of Obesity as a Disease makes apps like the MDWorkout® Fitness App an important element of good health

SAN DIEGO--()--LifeApps Digital Media Inc. (OTCQB: LFAP) (“LifeApps”), an emerging growth company and designer of applications ("apps"), new media, products and next-generation social networks for sports, health, fitness and entertainment enthusiasts, applauds the recent decision by the AMA to classify obesity as a disease and encourages individuals struggling with obesity to use LifeApps’ MDWorkout® health and fitness app as a tool in battling the disease. The CDC reports in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey that over one-third (35.7%) of U.S. adults were obese in 2009-2010.

MDWorkout® is designed for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and can be downloaded from the App Store.

MDWorkout® features exercises developed with and demonstrated by Venus Ramos, MD. The app’s video management system allows users to purchase in-app and download detailed video instructions of the exercises.

“We conceived MDWorkout® from the beginning as an important tool in battling obesity,” stated Robert Gayman, CEO at LifeApps. “By working with a medical doctor from day one our concept for the app has always been forward thinking in training routines and nutritional guides that aid users in the battle against obesity.”

Additional LifeApps apps and digital magazines can also be found on the App Store.

MDWorkout® Fitness App is not a medical application and LifeApps provides no guarantee of positive results in battling obesity from the use of the app. It is not meant to replace the advice and guidance of a doctor or trainer. You should always consult a doctor before beginning any physical training program.
