Remember those cool, ultra-light wooden iPhone 5 cases from Kubxlab? Now they’re available with the skins of exotic animals replacing the slivers of rare-tree flesh on the back panel. They’re called “Exotics” and “Elegance.” Let’s see if they live up to that.
When I first saw these cases, I thought of Steve Tyler and the other old ladies in his knitting club, Aerosmith. They’d love an iPhone case that came in Black Lizard, and could compare their various faux reptile skins cases at their Friday afternoon tea meeting (rumor has it that Joe Perry loves a nice Earl Grey). And clearly the only reason that Kubxlab didn’t include a “White Snake” case was to placate Steve and his botox-pickled Bostonite bandmates.
