Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) Plunged To A 3-Month Low After Disappointing Q4 Report

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.52 after the bell Thursday, down from $0.73 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.75. Revenues for the quarter grew to $19.90 billion from $18.06 billion last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $20.73 billion.

Microsoft gapped open sharply lower Friday and declined for the majority of the morning, before settling into a range. The stock closed down by 4.04 at $31.40 on the highest volume of the year. Microsoft dropped to a 3-month low and fell below its 50-day moving average.
