Supposed plastic cases for the next iPhone are making the rounds - Video

The low-cost iPhone has been a staple rumor for some time. It makes sense as Apple has multiple iterations of iPod and now iPad products at different features and price points. To date, however, Apple has simply kept offering old products at lower prices. That has worked well and allowed Apple to put all its resources into a single product.

Apple, however, may be finally coming around to offering models with newer hardware in a cheaper design. A lot of people are scooping up the iPhone 4, which is definitely getting long in the tooth. The hardware that's selling well today won't be able to fully utilize iOS 7 when it's released this fall. Hopefully these parts are a sign that Apple will come up with a better solution to lower cost options at retail.

Below are two videos showing what's presented as casing parts for that low-cost next gen iPhone. The assumption here, of course, is that plastic is for the presumed cheaper iPhone and not simply the next iPhone.
