Words is a very interesting newish “Read It Later” and RSS reader available for Mac. It puts the emphasis on the providing the best possible reading experience. Thus, it offers features focused on that.

For instance, some pleasant font and formatting styles, the ability to split up an essay or article into multiple columns (used best in full screen view), and support for multiple services (Instapaper, Pocket, and Readability — which is great if you use more than one) as well as any RSS feed. The typography is well chosen and the ability to search across multiple streams is handy.

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and have been delighted by it’s “one thing well” approach and the attention to detail throughout. It is only $9.99 right now on the App Store (regularly $15.99). Check it out.
