Proving that Silicon Valley’s high-profile players are starting to become “tabloid celebrities” to a certain extent, last night’s news that Google co-founder Sergey Brin and his wife—23andMe cofounder and CEO Anne Wojcicki—were splitting up was met with almost as much attention (especially, unsurprisingly, on the internet) as the Catherine Zeta-Jones-Michael Douglas separation revelation.

Brin—whose fortune is estimated at $24 billion—and Wojcicki were married in 2007 and have two children. They had been living apart for several months,* *according to All Things Digital, and will now “remain good friends and partners.” According to their spokesman, they will continue their work on their several philanthropic and business ventures together.

What adds more of a Grey’s Anatomy twist to the story is that All Things Digital says that Brin has taken up, romantically, with a younger Google employee, who was revealed by Valleywag to be 26-year-old Glass marketing manager Amanda Rosenberg. Rosenberg was reported to have been dating* **another *Google executive, Hugo Barra, who just so happened to leave his position at Android yesterday afternoon. All mentions of Barra have been removed from Rosenberg's very active Google+ account but, as Valleywag notes, are accessible via website caches.
