Wake Up On Time Or Be Publicly Shamed By The Newly Updated Carrot Alarm

Just a couple of weeks after its launch, Carrot Alarm has already received its first update, and a major update at that.
Carrot Alarm is the "sequel" to Carrot To-Do. Formerly known simply as Carrot, Carrot To-Do is a to-do app with a ton of personality and sass. And that same amount of cheekiness is, unsurprisingly, found in Carrot Alarm.
Carrot Alarm's first update delivers a few improvements … and at least one threat.
First off, the default alarm volume of the app has been increased. In addition, the alarm volume can now be adjusted.
Furthermore, Carrot Alarm now automatically dims your iDevice's display after 20 seconds. It now also sounds the alarm always through your iDevice's speaker, so you can't miss it even when your iDevice is plugged into an audio accessory.

The new version of Carrot Alarm also features a "wake now" button that appears 90 minutes before your designated alarm time. Of course, pushing this button and waking up ahead of time will earn you more points.
Now, about that threat. It's a threat of public shaming, which, according to Carrot, works this way:
Upset me by trying to sleep in, and I’ll offer to publicly humiliate you in front of all your closest social media friends. You’ll think twice about snoozing if Good Ol’ Jim Bob from high school will know all about your once-private shame.Also including some bug fixes, the new version of Carrot Alarm is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $1.99 download. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Shortly after its release, Carrot Alarm earned an AppAdvice App of the Week honorable mention.
