Alongside Apple's iOS 7 launch, Google has released a new version of its Chrome Web browser for the updated operating system.

"Starting today you can download the latest update to Chrome for iOS for both your iPhone and iPad," Google software engineer Miranda Callahan, wrote in a blog post. "You'll notice a new design for iOS 7, including improvements to the full-screen experience on your iPad."

Google said it's easier to switch between Chrome and other Google apps on your phone. Sign in to Chrome on your iPhone and iPad, for instance, and you'll be able to log in to other Google apps with one click. You can also add or remove accounts in Settings.

In addition, links from Chrome can now directly open in the YouTube, Google Maps, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google+ apps, if they're installed. For instance, if you're searching for a nearby restaurant, Chrome will open the address in the Google Maps app (as opposed to Apple Maps). This was added to the Gmail iOS app in May. To enable this feature, visit "Google Apps" under the Settings menu and select which apps you would like to open from Chrome.

In addition, the updated browser will help you get back to your search results faster if the link you clicked doesn't give you what you wanted. When you hit the hack button, your search results will now "reappear instantly," Google said.

Google also called out its recently revamped voice search feature, which now understand pronouns, meaning you can search for something like "Who is the President of the United States," and then follow it up another query asking "Where did he go to school?"

Other changes include a new settings user interface, as well as unspecified security improvements and bug fixes. The latest version is available for download in the App Store now.
