With new and highly compelling functionality for streamlining document-driven workflows to make content more readily available where and when it is needed, Omtool introduces AccuRoute version 4.1.

AccuRoute Mobile
AccuRoute Mobile enables field-based or traveling employees to extend the AccuRoute document capture infrastructure beyond the walls of the typical office environment and deliver it to wherever they are. With AccuRoute Mobile, users are able to capture document images directly from their mobile device and send them to their company’s AccuRoute Server for processing.

Mobile and field-based employees need to be able to capture, process and send documents from wherever they are just as they would from within their office environment. AccuRoute Fax
Omtool has extended its AccuRoute Fax infrastructure that is compatible with virtually any network-connected scan device or MFP to include support for inbound and outbound faxing over IP protocols (FoIP). In addition to FoIP and the hardware-based (board) fax solutions Omtool currently offer its clients, AccuRoute Fax can now be configured to route outbound faxes to cloud-based fax service providers.
AccuRoute Extensions
The continuous growth of enterprise data is posing new storage and data management challenges for organizations of all sizes. One of the greatest strengths of the AccuRoute technology has been its ability to communicate this growing amount of content to various destinations and recipients, simultaneously. This functionality has now been extended to include support for cloud-based repositories such as Dropbox to make it possible to centralize your most critical content and make it immediately accessible from wherever you are.
The web-based client interface of AccuRoute has been enhanced to now include an “Administrators View” of documents in process. This will help the desk and departmental IT managers better manage documents processed by end users from their desktops without the need to obtain the more comprehensive access the AccuRoute Administrator Console the AccuRoute Server provides.
Availability
AccuRoute v4.1 includes AccuRoute Mobile, AccuRoute Extension enhancements, the new Administrator View, integration with cloud-based storage, and a variety of additional end user features that have been added in response to customer suggestions. Further, localized versions of AccuRoute v4.1 are now available with diverse OCR support for over forty languages.
AccuRoute 4.1 is now available from Omtool or Omtool partners and resellers.
AccuRoute Mobile can be downloaded from the Apple App Store. Additional licenses are required.
