Apple and Honda have been working together since 2011 to bring Siri Eyes Free support to the automaker's vehicles, allowing drivers to control their devices via vocal commands.

However, in-car mirroring would allow users to carry out more commands than just changing music or making calls.

Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota are also working with Apple to add Siri Eyes Free support to their latest vehicles.

Honda is expected to officially unveil the iOS in-car mirroring feature on December 14.
