The end of a year brings a lot of “Best Of” lists your way, and Macworld is no different. In our case, our Best Of list comes in the form of our annual Editors’ Choice Awards, which recognize our favorite products of the year.
Here to talk about the Eddy Awards are Macworld executive editor Jonathan Seff and senior editor Roman Loyola. They talk about what made the cut for our 29th annual awards, as we look at what this year’s top iOS and Mac products say about the state of the Apple-verse as 2013 comes to an end.

Show notes
You haven’t read our Eddy Awards article yet? Well, you should take care of that right now. Roman, Jon, and myself also had some fun making this Eddy Awards video.
We call out a few products during the course of our discussion: the ScanSnap iX500 desktop scanner, the MultiSync EA294WMi display from NEC, the 1Password password manager, the Bartender menu-bar manager, and the free TextWrangler text editor. Oh, and a phone and tablet made by some small Cupertino-based business merit some discussion as well.
