Apple has just released iOS 7.0.5, the fifth minor update that iOS 7 has gotten since its release. The update is apparently only very minor, and MacRumors reports that it applies only to certain models of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. The release notes say that it "corrects network provisioning for iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C models sold in China." China's largest cellular operator, China Mobile, began selling iPhones earlier this month.
As of this writing, the update doesn't appear to be available for other iOS devices—it wasn't available on an iPad mini, fifth-generation iPod touch, or an AT&T iPhone 5S. This means that the network provisioning problem is probably the only thing the update fixes. Those of you waiting for more substantive changes will need to wait for iOS 7.1, which is in its fourth developer beta and should be released in the coming months.
Update: The iOS 7.0.5 update appears to apply specifically to iPhone models 5,4 and 6,2, which covers some international models, as well as the China-specific models.
