Control Your Mac with a Pebble Smartwatch

The Pebble Smartwatch is pretty neat, but it doesn't connect to your computer in very interesting ways. Coder Joseph Schmitt decided to see if it was possible to get a little more out of his Pebble, and figured out a way to launch web sites on his computer from the watch itself.

The process is pretty convoluted and uses Command C, an iPad, and Keyboard Maestro to daisy chain the process of sending a link from the Pebble to the Mac. The software alone's $43 if you don't already have it, but the end result is a pretty cool way to launch web sites on your computer. Obviously this is a pretty limited use, but Schmitt's guide could lay the foundation for doing a lot more cool stuff.
