‘Jobs’ Returns To Netflix Streaming

March 26, 2014
“Jobs,” starring Ashton Kutcher in the titular role, has returned to Netflix’s streaming service. The film originally arrived yesterday, but then unexpectedly disappeared. If you’re a subscriber to the $7.99 per month service, you can watch the film on a computer at this link. It’s also available to stream through the universal app for iOS devices. The film itself, which originally hit theaters in August 2013, didn’t exactly burn up the box office. It only made $16.1 million during its theatrical run. On the film site Rotten Tomatoes, only 27 percent of critics and 41 percent of audiences approved of the film. Along with Kutcher as the Apple CEO and co-founder, the movie features Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak and Matthew Modine as John Sculley. I wasn’t interested in actually paying to see the flick, but now that it's free to stream, I might actually sit down and watch it. Another film biopic of Jobs is also in the works. The yet-untitled film is based on the biography written by Walter Issacson. Christian Bale, from the Batman trilogy, is in talks to star.
