In addition to its obvious applications as a personal scrapbooking tool, this app could also have some helpful benefits for business use. You can use the app to take pictures of important contacts, and attach audio of important details or talking points related to that person.
Another potential business use would be for journalists who want to take pictures of a subject or event, while also preserving an audio record of the encounter. It’s also a great way to record reminders based on an image.
The interface is clean, and it’s very intuitively designed. Social integration is a nice feature as well, with the app offering the ability to share with friends via Facebook, Twitter and email.
The only downside here is that, for now, you need to be a Dropbox user. If you use a Dropbox competitor like Box, OneDrive, or Google Drive, there isn’t an equivalent sign-on for you yet.
Getting a Dropbox account is free and easy, but for those people who are already firmly ensconced in one cloud storage service, it might be a hassle to have to move stuff from Dropbox to the other service…unless you like the idea of just using Dropbox for this app’s contents, and only this app’s contents.
Overall, this is an attractive and useful app. Even if you don’t have a Dropbox account (and really, why wouldn’t you have one?), this is an app that’s worth setting up a new account for.
