Apple’s worldwide websites lead-times
From the first wave of countries that Apple made the iPhone 6 available I have been tracking the company’s US, UK, Australia, Japan (where the iPhone 6 dominates), Hong Kong and Singapore websites. From the second wave I have information for Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey and most recently China.
The lead-times on the US, UK and the Australia websites for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have stayed the same since Tuesday, September 23, at 7-10 business days and 3-4 weeks, respectively. Hong Kong’s and Singapore’s have showed Currently Unavailable the whole time but I believe iPhone 6s can be reserved for pick-up.
Apple’s websites lead-times in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy and Spain have also been at 7-10 business days and 3-4 weeks for the 6 and 6 Plus, respectively, since October 1. Turkey’s have been the same except its Space Gray 64GB model is at 3-4 weeks. Taiwan’s have been at 2-3 weeks and 3-4 weeks, respectively, for the 6 and 6 Plus.
Apple’s China website has seen its iPhone 6 lead-times elongate since they went on sale Friday. Similar to the first day lead-times in other countries that had same day availability the iPhone 6 16Gb and 128 GB lead-times are now at 1-2 weeks and the 64GB at 2-3 weeks. For the iPhone 6 Plus the 16GB models are either 1-2 weeks or 2-3 weeks. All of the 6 Plus models are at 3-4 weeks and match all the other Apple websites.
Verizon’s, AT&T’s and Sprint’s lead-times
Six of nine Verizon’s iPhone 6 models have shorter lead-times (now between October 21 and November 7) since last Monday while one has gotten longer. Two of Apple’s 128GB models have immediate availability. All 9 of the iPhone 6 Pluses have shorter lead-times versus last Monday and they range from October 31 to November 14.
The lead-times on AT&T’s websites for both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have essentially stayed the same since September 20, the weekend that they became available.
The lead-times for Sprint’s iPhone 6 64GB models have stayed at 2-4 weeks since September 20 while the 16GB and 128GB models have shortened to 2-5 business days. The iPhone 6 Plus’s lead-times have stayed the same at 4-6 weeks over the same timeframe.
Vodafone’s lead-times are all over the map.
The three Vodafone websites that I am tracking are the UK, Germany and Australia and have availability all over the map for Apple’s iPhone 6’s and 6 Plus’s. For the iPhone 6 in the UK 7 of the 9 lead-times have it In Stock while in Germany 8 of the 9 have lead-times in the middle to the end of October and in Australia 4 of the 9 are showing Out of Stock.
For the 6 Plus the lead-times are longer and in Australia they are all showing Out of Stock. However 3 of the 9 6 Plus’s in the UK have them In Stock and Germany has 1 In Stock.
